Busy Summer!

Where has the time gone?  I have been super busy this summer!!  Here are a few things that have been keeping me busy:

We took a cruise to the Bahamas in June.

Three years ago, my sister and brother in law felt led to be missionaries.  They have been letting the Lord deal with their lives since then.  The day came for them to be full time missionaries in Eleuthera, Bahamas.  It is an island east of Nassau.  They will both teach there at a boarding school. 

The part that I am soo sooo sad about is that I had to say goodbye to this sweet face….

This is a picture of my sister and nephew in Eleuthera a few years ago.  They are so so happy there!

In the weeks leading up to my sister’s departure, we spend lots of quality time with the family.

Now it’s time to turn my brain on to school work!!!  :)  I have way too much to do!!

My professional goal…

At the end of this current school year, I set a goal for myself that I would be a better documenter!  I am making myself an all in one binder that holds everything from parent documentation, behavior documentation, team documentation (since I am grade level chair), and MANY other things!!!!!  I am going to be better organized!  Here is a little something I made that I am going to print for each child so that I can be sure I am talking to EACH parent regularly (good and bad things). Teachers pay Teachers

Ok, I set up a teachers pay teachers account.  I am really excited about this.  I do lots of fun things but I always forget to post them here!   It is my goal next year to get on the ball and start sharing more.  I am so bad about taking and not giving!  Shame on me.  I posted my first item that is totally free!  Click the picture to get it free! 

 

We have been reading Charlotte’s Web and doing Abby’s Charlotte’s Web unit, which I LOVE!!! 

We just finished doing a moon unit by Cara, which I also loved!!!

Only 14 more school days!!!!  I so can’t wait!  I really can’t wait until our cruise which is 31 days away!!!  woohoooooooooo, Bahamas here I come!
