My Sippi went to the vet yesterday and got her teeth cleaned.  She was so mad at me when we got there!! 

After we got her home, I took this picture.  I thought it was so cute to see her with a bandage on her arm!!! :)

working in classroom day 1

Wow!  That’s all I can say.  My district doesn’t turn on AC until the day inservice begins.  so……It was 90 degrees in my room today.  I did as much as I could before I nearly passed out!!   When I walked in, everything was in the middle of my room.  So today I spent my 2 hours putting furniture where it belongs.  I didn’t take any pictures because I forgot my camera at home.  I am going back Thursday to work some more.  Thank  goodness for fans…..

1. I am planning on taking more time to actually design my blog now that I know how to do it, but I have been so busy with family. So, sorry for the non-matching blues!!! (it's driving me crazy too!!)

2. Google Reader has saved my life!!!! It's allowing me to keep up with all your wonderful blogs at the click of a mouse!!! LOL Seriously, you girls are just too talented. I have been keeping myself busy trying to make all these wonderful things.

3. I will start working in my classroom on Monday. I am excited to get started. I won't have AC yet so I won't be able to work much at a time. Last year they were renovating our school so I couldn't get started until inservice week. Plus, I had not recovered from my surgery yet so I was on a knee scooter. bummer.....

Last year I decided to start digital scrapbooking.  It has been the best decision ever!!  I started my cruise scrapbook yesterday.  I already have 2 pages completed!

Windows Live Writer

Thank you Cara over at First Grade Parade!!  I am testing out Windows Live Writer.  I sure hope this makes loading pictures easier.  It was such a pain to load pictures into blogger!!!

School on my mind....

This week my mind has been RACING with things that need to be done to get ready for school. I have 2 big projects that need to be done soon: 1) making unit math vocabulary posters 2) plan for the entire year of reading by making weekly plans....I know these are lofty goals but I want to start as soon as possible!! Also, I am going into a new room this year so I am basically starting from scratch. I am working on a layout for my new room.
